Pair Of Early Child Rackets

Antique Pair Of Early Child Rackets.
A charming pair of rare children's 'play rackets'. The racquets are constructed from a single piece of steam bent wood, forming a head at one end and a handle at the other. The original interlooped stringing with some repairs and is feed through a single line of drilled holes evenly spaced around the head of the frame. The handles are wrapped with traditional oilcloth covers.
A very nice pair of tennis related rackets for children, probably made to use as Shuttlecock and Battledore or any light ball.
