Novelty Art Deco Camel Table Strike Lighter.
An early 20th century Austrian cold painted spelter table lighter after Franz Xavier Bergman. The Vienna bronze style desk lighter is in the form of Arabian rug sellers with great detailing and colour. One of the rug sellers is sat upon a camel holding an unfurled rug, the second seller is standing exhibiting the pattern and colours of the rug. The seat on the camel houses the striker wand. The shaped rectangular mahogany base is modern with green baize underneath.
