Antique Bamboo Shooting Stick.
A good quality sports seat, shooting stick made of bamboo with folding cane seat and polished brass fittings. There is a metal disc on the bottom to support the seat in soft ground. The stick is in very good original condition. Stamped BTE. S.G.D.G. The term stands for "Breveté Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement" and translated means: "Patent without guarantee of the government", this is the name of a patent as it was in France until 1968.
Height when closed for walking 34 3/4 inches.
