Billiard, Snooker Power Glide Diamond Cue.
A nice one piece machine spliced rosewood over ash billiard, snooker cue. The handle is with 3 front veneers and trade label. Label reads 'Power Glide, Hand Finished, Rex Williams, Diamond Cue, Made in England'. A nice usable cue.

Powerglide was a cue manufacturing business and was started by Rex Williams back in 1968 with his brother Ken. Powerglide is now part of the Unicorn, Gunn & Moore group.

Rex Williams was a professional snooker and billiards player who turned professional in 1951. He found more success at billiards, winning the World Professional Billiards Championship seven times between 1968 and 1983.
In 1964 and 1965, he lost the World Snooker Championship to John Pulman.
