Wall Mounted Cue Rack.
A large wall mounted antique billiards, snooker, or pool cue rack constructed from mahogany. The rack will hold twenty four cues and rest and clip in the slots at the top. The slots have been fitted with foam to keep the cues in place without damaging them. The is a trade label for 'John Piggott Ltd, 117 & 118 Cheapside & Milk Street, London, E.C'. A well made piece of billiard furniture, the pictures shown with the cue rack are for display purposes.
It seems John Piggott of Cheapside, London, dealt in everything with his adverts ranging from Motists' Outfitters, Tennis items, Cricket equipment, Cycling waterproofs & shoes, clothes & other cycling accessories. There was even an advert in 1915 for The JP "IMPREGNABLE" Motorcycle.
