Vintage Juniors Stuart Surridge & Co. Cricket Bat, Peter May.
A good willow cricket bat stamped on the face with a facsimile autograph of Peter May with the maker's name: Stuart Surridge & Co. Ltd, London, with the 'Wellington' trade mark on the shoulders of the bat. The bat has a Patent reinforced toe No. 19386/28 and a strung handle. A good decorative piece with nice patina.

Peter Barker Howard May, CBE, was born in 1929 in Berkshire and was an English amateur cricketer, who played for Surrey, Cambridge University and England. He died in 1994 and on 9 July 2009, he was posthumously inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.
