Vintage John Jaques Croquet Set.
A good quality Jaques croquet set in original pine box with four brass bound rockwood mallets with guide lines on the tops of the heads and octagonal handles with cord grips, each stamped Jaques London. To complete the set there are four coloured wooden balls in the standard croquet colours, six bent metal hoops and one winning post. There are also some boundary yard line pegs for marking the yard lines on a croquet court. The lid has a Jaques paper label on the inside and on the outside it is marked 'Jaques Croquet, London' to the front and lid. The mallets are 37 ¾ inches in length.
A great set for anybody's garden.
