Vintage Eight Mallet Club Croquet Set By Jaques & Son.
A good quality Jaques 'Prize Medal' Victorian eight-mallet croquet set in original pine box. The heads are made from boxwood and are fitted with ash handles which have coloured rings from one to four in red and blue for the different players. To complete the set there are eight boxwood balls with the same number of coloured rings to match the mallets, ten bent metal hoops, two ornately turned posts painted with two sets of numbers 1,2,3,4 in red and blue bands, 8 metal clips to clip on the hoops to show when a certain ball has passed through, metal hole maker for the hoops and a mallet to knock them in.
A wonderful 8 mallet garden croquet set in excellent condition.
Size shown is for the pine box. Mallets are 93 centermeters in length.

The set has been refurbished and is in great playable condition. There are two new handles, both No. 4, and one also has a new boxwood mallet head.
