Brass Bound Croquet Set By Jaques.
A good quality John Jaques garden croquet set with brass bound mallets, complete with its original polished pine box, stencilled 'Jaques Croquet London'. The set comes with four brass bound croquet mallets, with alignment lines, octagonal ash handles (which helps a player 'feel' the alignment of the mallet in play) with black and white cord grips. Each head marked 'Jaques, London' with the faces scored with concentric rings to aid the playing of stop shots and follow through roll shots. There are four 'Eclipes' coloured balls in the standard croquet colours, six bent metal hoops, one winning post, eight yard line pegs for marking the yard lines on a croquet court, four coloured sprung clips and a wooden mallet.
A wonderful set to grace anybody's lawn.
The size shown is for the pine box, the mallets are 95 cm in length.
