Lionel Edwards Equestrian Chromolithographs.
A pair of Lionel Edwards equestrian prints titled 'On The Way To The Meet' and 'The Lucky Man'. The two original Lionel Edwards prints are framed in period oak frames and were originally from a set of six prints which consisted of On The Way To The Meet, The Lucky Man, The Unlucky Man, Water, Rails and Returning Home, it is very rare to find the full set. Edwards is best known for his equestrian art but early in his career he produced illustrative work for many periodicals and stylish golf scenes in a manner reminiscent of Cecil Aldin.
