Copyright registered', is printed above the image. In italics in the bottom left-hand corner 'Painted by H.J.Brooks' there is a PSA blindstamp in the bottom right-hand corner.
Image size: 30 inches wide by 16 ½ inches high.
Brooks (1839 – 1925) was a well known British painter, he was also a photographer. He is best known for his paintings of meetings and events with which many of the people being identifiable.
