A good 1949 (2nd edition) angling book by Romilly Fedden entitled 'Golden Days' and printed in Great Britain by The bowering Press, Plymouth. This is a hard back copy with original blue cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine and the original printed paper dust-wrapper. Title page printed in black 'Golden Days from the Fishing-Log of a painter in Brittany by Romilly Fedden, with an introduction by Sir Robert Bruce Lockhart, K.C.M.G., Adam & Charles Black, 4, 5 & 6 Soho Square, London, W.1, 1949.
The first edition was published after the end of the First World War in 1919, the second edition soon after the Second World War in 1949. Golden Days was written by the author whilst serving as an officer in France during the War.
