Telescopic Brass Hardy Salmon Fishing Gaff.
A very nice three piece telescopic fishing gaff made by the renowned fishing tackle manufacturer, Hardy Brothers, Alnwick with leather shoulder strap. The high quality piece has a round outer body, the telescopic pieces with a square shape, the hook being made of steel. The main body is brass and incorporates a brass folding safety guard for the hook and a shoulder strap clip. The clip is stamped 'Hardy's Pat'. The wooden handle is made of lignum vitae and finished off with a brass finial.
