A vintage car mascot of a leaping Salmon by Desmo Limited, Birmingham, England. This wonderful chrome plated car mascot of a leaping fish has been mounted onto a round metal base making it a good desk piece or paper weight. The base of the fish is signed 'DESMO'. The mascot is in excellent condition, well sculptured, and is appealing to fishermen as well as collectors of automobilia. Desmo Limited was founded in the early 1920's, with car mascots continuing to be produced until the mid 1960's.
