Vintage Slater's Nottingham Starback Wooden Fishing Reel.
A 4 ½" Slater pattern Nottingham Starback centre pin sea fishing reel made of walnut. The front plate fitted with two twin turned wooden handles mounted on brass eye plates, a brass spool back plate, brass foot and star back with optional check lever and central brass wing nut. No makers mark but the wooden Nottingham starback reels were first produced by David Slater.
The reel is in good clean condition.
Width size shown is without handles, handles are an extra 3cm.
