3" Slater Pattern Nottingham Starback Wooden Fishing Reel.
A good, high quality, centre pin Nottingham Starback fishing reel made of walnut. The front plate with 3-screw brass centre plate incorporating quick release drum latch, two horn handles mounted on brass eye plates, a brass line guard and brass foot and star back with incorporated optional check lever. The reel is in good clean condition, it generally bears a patina commensurate with its age. No makers mark but the wooden Nottingham starback reels were first produced by David Slater.
Width size shown is without handles, handles are an extra 2 cm.
