Westley Richards Fly Fishing Rod, Traveller.
A great four-piece split cane fly fishing rod by the renown British gun and rifle manufacturer Westley Richards called 'Traveller'. The 4-piece rod in very good original condition with suction ferrule joints, butt and end agate rings, intermediate full bridge guides, 30 cm cork handle with universal reel fitting and intermediate tying with green coloured silk. The rod comes with two wooden stoppers and in an original Westley Richards canvas bag with cloth label 'By appointment, Westley Richards, Guns and Rifles, Fishing Rods, 23 Conduit St., London, 24 Bennetts Hill, Birmingham'. The rod has the inscription 'Westley Richards, Traveller, 8 ft, 4 ½ oz'.
The packed length of this rod is fantastic for travelling as it takes up little space, would fit in a suitcase for holidays or even carrying to your local river.
Size shown is in its case, fitted together it is 2m 50cm, 8'
