Lancashire Mule Chest.
A George III Lancashire mule chest made of mahogany. The back board with wavy edge, the first two rows of drawers (five) are false drawers, allowing a great storage area when the hinged lid is lifted. There are four real drawers, all drawers with brass swan neck handles. There are fluted quarter pilasters either side of the drawers and whole chest raised on ogee bracket feet. The chest with exceptional colour and patination.
