Large French Fruit Wood Farm House Table.
19th century country French farm house table assembled in the traditional method of pegged mortise and tenon joints. A drawer is at one end, the other has a bread slide. The top is of an eight plank construction with cleated ends above lovely classic tapered legs. The table length is just shy over eight feet, with the legs placed close to the ends to maximize seating on the long sides, seats ten people. Apron height is a good 24½" for the knees. The fruitwood timber with great colour and patina.
