A Royal Doulton "Airbrush Brown" Kingsware lemonade jug with a golf scene by Charles Crombie in relief. The standard Royal Doulton mark (Crown surmounted by a Lion) and No. 5716 is on the bottom of the jug.
Charles 'Chas' Crombie (1885 - 1967) was an illustrator whose work is well known to the collector. His pictures can be found in many forms, on postcards, calendars, in books and on Royal Doulton ceramics.
Size shown is without the handle, the handle protrudes by 5 cm.
