A typical period socket head persimmon wood wood by Mitchell of Manchester. This great looking club has a polished club head, lead weight to the rear and the traditional horn slip along the leading edge of the sole. The head is stamped 'Mitchell of Manchester' as is the original hickory shaft fitted with a sheep skin grip.
The measurements shown are the length of the whole club, the width of the face and depth of the head.
A great golf club in good usable condition for modern hickory play. Approximate 4° loft & swing weight B3.
