Antique Hickory Golf Club by Gibson of Kinghorn.
A good No.3 iron made by Gibson of Kinghorn and retailed by Manton & Co. Calcutta. The club has the original hickory shaft stamped 'GIBSON'S STAR A' with a suede leather grip. The head with hand punched dot face markings and the rear clearly stamped with the Gibson 'DEEP STRUCK STAR' cleek mark. Also marked 'Made in Scotland, Hand Forged, 3 Iron, Rustless Iron' with both 'Manton & Co. Calcutta' and 'Wm. Gibson & Co. Ltd., Kinghorn, Scotland' in an oval stamp.
A great club in good usable condition with an approximate 28° Loft.
