Auchterlonie Brace Hand Drill & Bit
A wonderful 19th century golf clubmakers hand brace and drill from the Auchterlonie workshops in St Andrews. There is a very faint 'D & W Auchterlonie' stamp on the sweep handle, the same can be found on Auchterlonie's persimmon wood club heads. The drill bit is removed by loosening a thumb screw. A great piec of golfing history.
The last image shows the Auchterlonie brace and bit with a Jack Gibson sign, golf club and a Tom Morris saw, the price does not include these items.
