An original stylish Louis Vuitton monogrammed expandable briefcase. The case is made in green leather and features a sturdy reinforced leather top handle, frontal flap with brass press lock closure. The lock with working key and stamped with the Louis Vuitton name and monogram. The flap opens to a partitioned leather interior with two compartments, one with two pockets, the other with pen holder and key fob holder, there is also a rear pocket. The interior is embossed in gilt 'Louis Vuitton, Paris, made in France' and the model No. 'M11917'. This is a marvelous Louis Vuitton briefcase in unused condition with original 'LV' dust jacket, would be ideal for the office and would fit an IPad or tablet.
Louis Vuitton are arguably the most famous company ever to produce luxury luggage and are synonymous with the art of travel. Since 1854 they have produced a wide variety of every type of luggage for the traveller. They have been responsible for many innovations and trends as the means of transportation diversified. In 1893 Louis handed over the company to Georges his son. Georges made Louis Vuitton a worldwide corporation and in 1896 put out the company's monogrammed canvas luggage covered with the trademark initials 'LV' and decorative floral motifs that everyone recognises and loves today.
