A good framed Christ Church University rowing team photo of the 1894 VIII boat crew. The photos are framed in original traditional oak frame with gold slip with a team photo on the left and a picture of the crew in their boat on the right. The original 'Hills & Saunders' mount is with arched window cutout, college crest, calligraphic legend "Ch: Ch: VIII.1894" and the names of the rowers. The picture was the property of A. Mitchell as on the rear of the pine backboards along with the framers paper label is his name written in pencil.
