ORIGINAL TRINITY COLLEGE UNIVERSITY PRESENTATION ROWING OAR, TROPHY BLADE.
An original traditional Trinity College presentation full length rowing oar. The blade is with gilt calligraphy and college insignia. The writing on the trophy blade is in good condition, although the college name is fait, and this oar belonged to R.M.Collins who took part in the 1948 summer Olympics rowing in the Coxed four. Stamped on the shaft "E.Ayling & Sons Ltd, Riverside Putney, London".

Painted on the blade face is:-
"TRINITY COLLEGE. 1st EIGHT. 1949. Head of the River"
