A cased roach in a nice bow fronted case with gilt lines. The case contains a cleverly modelled roach set against a painted backdrop with realistic river bed setting. There is a small paper label internally, top right which reads 'Roach 1 LB. 12 OZS. Caught By G.A. Perry, Wye, Hereford. Nov 9th. 1924'.
Bow front cases are more sought after than any other type, the float glass shows off the fish nicely and gives a greater impression of water.
