Tennis Watercolour Painting.
A wonderful atmospheric watercolour of a country house's rear garden with well established trees and a grass tennis court. The tennis net can be seen coming into the picture from the right. It is a well accomplished painting with no apparent artist details.
The picture has been reframed, keeping some of the original paper backing which had and address on it 'Mrs. Ashby, 57 Chester Terrace, Brighton, 6 Sussex' and a 1937 postage stamp 5d, King George VI.
