Antique Lop Sided Lawn Tennis Racket By Jefferies
Antique Jefferies Lawn Tennis Racket.
A rare, early lopsided (tilt head or teardrop shape) lawn tennis racquet in good original condition by Jefferies & Co. of Woolwich, England. The heavy ash lop sided frame is in very good condition. The walnut convex wedge is stamped with the maker's name 'Jefferies' and the Royal warrant with ebony stringing. The original period thick gut stringing is there but not in good condition.
