A good persimmon wood hickory shafted driver by Alfred Gibson Bech. The club head marked with Bech's name and Sherwood Forest G.C. The club has a polished leather grip and the head has a lead weight to the rear.
A great driver in good original condition and very usable for modern hickory play. Approximate 8° loft and the best balls for hickory play are low compression balls that will give at impact, such as ladies balls or soft feel balls.
Alfred Gibson Bech was at Sherwood Forest G.C. from 1930 until 1947.
