Vintage Horizontal Bronze Sundial.
A nice sundial with a 7¼" diameter face mounted onto a circular stone. The dial cast with a Sunny face to the center with the points of a compass N - E - S - W as the sun rays with a gnomon (that is the triangle that casts the shadow onto a platform etched with different times). The motto 'let others tell of storms and showers, I'll only count your sunny hours' is around the outer edge of the dial with '1767' and the calibrated times '1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 & 4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12'. A nice garden ornament.
