Silver Plated Curling Inkwell Desk Set.
A wonderful silver plated curling themed double inkwell desk set with pen rest. The two ink pots are in the form of granite curling stones whilst the pen rest is made from four curling besoms (brush or broom). There is a large carry handle in the middle of the inkwell in the form of a tradition curling stone handle. The inkwell is engraved with the following 'Presented to Mr. William Frome, with a Davenport, Govan, 20th Janry 1882'.
Govan is a district, parish, and former burgh now part of southwest City of Glasgow, Scotland.
