'In The Silent North' by Herbert Thomas Dicksee.
A fine photogravure of two Arctic polar bears entitled 'In The Silent North'. The powerful etching is after the original by Herbert Thomas Dicksee, published 1st January 1903, and signed in pencil by the artist. The picture is in the original period frame with ivorine plaque to the front with picture title. In the bottom margin is a remarque of three huskies with sledge.
