ANTIQUE ASH SKIS.
A nice pair of light ash skis in excellent condition. The skis have metal foot plates with newer added metal bindings. The early flat top skis are polished with pointed tips, decorative grooves to the surface and the underside has a single groove along its length. The toe irons and heel straps are frequently seen on skis from around 1925 – 1935, the toe iron is adjustable and the heel strap has a tightening clip at the rear. The binding plate is marked 'Allgäubindung' and there are two metal trade plates marked 'Sporthaus, Karnagel, Dresden A. Johannesstr. 21'.
