Vintage Signed Stuart Surridge Cricket Bat, 1964 Australian Tour.
A good autographed willow cricket bat stamped on the face 'St. Helen's Driver' with the maker's name: Stuart Surridge & Co. Ltd, London, England, with the Wellington trade mark on the shoulders of the bat. The bat has a Patent reinforced toe No. 19386/28 and a strung handle. Also stamped on the bat face 'Specially made for Bill Edwards, The County Sports Shop, Swansea'. The face of the blade with 12 original pen signatures - Australians 1964. The rear of the bat with signatures from Lancaster, Cambridge, Glamorgan & Sussex cricket teams. The signatures including Brian Booth, Ian Redpath, Alan Connolly etc. and Lancashire, Cambridge, Glamorgan and Sussex including Ted Dexter, G. Thomson, Richard Langridge, Tony Buss etc.
The players listed below played in the 1964 Australian Tour, their autographs / signature could well be on this bat.
