Fishing Book, The Dry-Fly Fisherman's Entomology.
A fantastic first edition fishing book written by Martin E. Mosely, F.E.S. published 1921, George Routledge & Sons, Limited, New York: E.P. Dutton & Co. Illustrated with a photogravure frontispiece 'Detached Badger at Work' (F.M. Halford), 16 coloured plates of flies, text and many illustrations. Each plate accompanied by tissue guard sheet printed with description. Hard bound in original green rexine wallet-style binding with gilt title to front and spine.

'The Publishers regret that hitherto they have been unable to find an artist capable and willing to undertake the hand-colouring of the flies figured in this book in such perfection as to meet the standard of meticulous accuracy required by the author for the ' AUTHOR'S EDITION.' It was originally intended that this should have been published simultaneously with the present hand-coloured edition, and it is hoped that it may still be possible to issue the 'AUTHOR'S EDITION' later on', Being a Supplement to Frederic M. Halford's The Dry-Fly Man's Handbook. There are 109 pages, with a facsimile letter from Halford to Mosely and at the rear are an extra 12 blank pages for readers' notes and sketches.
