Victorian Dinner Gong With Hunting Horns By Henry Keat

Henry Keat & Sons Antique Equestrian Fox Hunting Dinner Gong.
This novelty dinner gong is made up of a large brass gong hanging from a snaffles bit which is supported by two copper hunting horns with nickel mouthpieces and rims. The horns are mounted onto a polished oak base with a silvered shield for engraving, there are also two supports (in the form of spurs) to hold the riding crop shaped hammer. This is a fantastic piece. The horns are engraved by the maker, Henry Keat & Sons, 105 &103 Matthias Rd. Stoke Newington, London.
Also engraved on the horns are Prize Medals, By appointment to the War & India Offices, Contractors & Manufacturers.
