Vintage Fishing Book, By Hook and By Crook by Fraser Sandeman.
A good 1892 1st edition angling book by Fraser Sandeman entitled 'By Hook and By Crook '. This is a hard back copy with original decorated cream cloth binding with gilt lettering to the front board and spine. Inside the front cover is a bookplate. Frontispiece photograph of a Thames trout (9 ½ lbs) found in a skiff at Henley Regatta 1887, he was eaten and excellent he was (as reported on page 183 of this book). Title page printed in black with image of flies 'By Hook and By Crook by Fraser Sandeman. With illustrations by the author.
