6" Milward's Nottingham Starback Wooden Fishing Reel.
A good, high quality, centre pin Slater Pattern Nottingham Starback fishing reel made of walnut. The front plate with 3-screw brass centre plate incorporating quick release drum latch, two turned handles mounted on brass eye plates, brass spool back plate, brass line guard, brass foot and star back. Back plate incorporating optional check lever. The reel is in good clean condition, it generally bears a patina commensurate with its age. Brass foot stamped 'Milward's, Made In England'.
Width size shown is without handles, handles are an extra 3½ cm.
