A good, high quality, centre pin, Slater Pattern Nottingham Starback fishing reel made of walnut. The front plate with 3-screw brass centre plate incorporating quick release drum latch, two turned handles mounted on brass eye plates, brass foot and star back with incorporated optional check lever. The reel is in good clean condition, it generally bears a patina commensurate with its age. It is in good original condition with 'S. ALLCOCK & Co. Ltd. MAKERS, REDDITCH, ENG' stamped on the brass foot.
Width size shown is without handles, handles are an extra 2 cm.
