Vintage Three Piece Hardy Trout Fly Rod, The 'C.C. de France'.
The Hardy 'C.C. de France' is a split cane Palakona 3-piece rod with spare tip made by Hardy's of Alnwick. The rod is in good used condition with green silk whippings, suction joints, adjustable alloy universal reel holder and 10" cork handle. It has the registration number E82145 dating it to 1952. The rod is 8' long and is in an original Hardy's canvas bag. The rod has the painted black inscription spiralling around the shaft 'the 'C.C. de France', 'Palakona' and 'Regd. Trade Mark.'. The butt and end rings are Agate, intermediate are snake rings. The three pieces measure 84cm, 84cm & both tips are 81cm.

Tyings: Ordianary spaced narrow bands, cane-coloured silk.
