Hardy's say about the rod:
The "Wye" Salmon-Fly Rods
The 12 ½ and 13 ½ ft are stout double-handed rods with plenty of power. The 11 ft is a strong, single-handed rod, which can be comfortably used by men of fairly powerful physique. The handle is made extra long, so that when desired they may be used double-handed.
One of the images is a copy showing the entry for the rod in a Hardy's Anglers' Guide & Catalogue.
