Gillows Design Boot Jack
Gillows Design Boot Jack
Antique Wooden Boot Jack.
A fine quality free standing mahogany boot jack, although not stamped this is a known Gillow's design. The front frame being two well turned reeded supports with swivelling splat, a platform and finished with a turned T-handle. The foot plate is shaped to take the heel of the boot with spur. This type of traditional boot jack makes removing your foot from the boot a lot easier and with out the need for help. One foot is placed on the rear of the platform whilst the other is placed into the throat of the bootjack. The splat is placed on top of the foot to aid the easing off of the boot. Ideal for riding boots or Wellington boots.
This is a serious high quality and strong boot jack.
