Antique George III Mahogany Demi-Lune Fold Over Tea Table.
A very nice example of a Georgian mahogany turn over top tea table. The Mahogany folding tea table has a 'D' shaped top (Demi-Lune) with reeded edges. The frieze below the top has ebony line inlays with a centre panel of figured mahogany. The table standing on four elegant, turned tapering reeded legs terminating in cupped brass castors, the two rear the legs have a gate leg action to support the fold over top when open.
When open the top measures 91 ½ cm by 98 cm.
