Vintage Marklin Horse Racing Game
A fantastic horse racing game contained in a black box made by Marklin of Germany. The race course is a metal base with rings finished in green and brown paint, all in original excellent condition with bright colours. There are 9 lead painted horses that run through four plated gates when the side lever is pushed. This is a very high quality made game that is great fun to play. Each player would place a bet on one or more horses with the stake money being placed into the central metal cup. The lever is pushed to activate the race and the horses begin to spin, as their momentum slows they come to a random stop. The winner collects all the money.
The finish flag is not original and one jockey is missing his head but other than this it is a wonderful game in working order.
