Vintage Regency Pattern Chess Set.
An antique chess set in original mahogany box with sliding lid. The chess set comprises of thirty-two pieces, four Knights featuring the head and neck of a horse. Two kings (being the tallest pieces at 3 ½" high), two Queens, four Rooks (castles) with a crenelation top and four Bishops with mitres. The sixteen Pawns are the smallest pieces at 1 ½" high and are topped by a plain ball.
Size shown is for the King, the price shown is for the chess pieces only and not the board.

The only piece with signs of damage is the ebonised King. There is a slight chip to the top. The box needs a little attention.
