Golf print after J.C Dollman, (John Charles 1851 – 1934).
A fine coloured lithograph in an old oak frame, titled "The Sabbath Breakers". The picture shows John Henrie and Pat Rogie being discovered by two stern-looking clergymen whilst playing golf on the Sabbath at Leith Links in 1592, they were later prosecuted.
The artist was a member of the Royal Watercolour Society and The Royal Institute exhibiting at the Royal Academy between 1872 and 1904.
