Set Of Eight Playable Ben Sayers Hickory Golf Clubs.
A fine and rare set of eight hickories (hickory shafted golf clubs) by Ben Sayers of North Berwick. The set is made up of rustless hand forged irons and include No. 1, 2, 3, 4 Mashie Iron, 5 Deep Face Mashie, 6 Spade Mashie, 7 Mashie Niblick & No.8 Niblick. The club heads are all stamped with the Ben Sayers autograph, face with dot punched markings and an 'S'. The hickory shafts are stamped 'Ben Sayers, Selected' and are with old polished leather grips, ready to hit the fairways.
This is a great set of playable original hickory shafted golf clubs. If you are wishing to play some hickory golf the best balls to play with are low compression balls that will give at impact, such as ladies balls or soft feel balls.
No.1 Iron is 98 cm length and has an approximate 22° Loft.
No.2 Iron is 97 cm length and has an approximate 24° Loft.
No.3 Iron is 95 cm length and has an approximate 28° Loft.
No.4 Iron is 94 cm length and has an approximate 31° Loft.
