A wonderful collection of fifty-three metal automotive oil cans made by various manufacturers. The fantastic collection of vintage motoring ephemera could be the perfect gift for the motoring enthusiast. Who would have thought the mundane garage oiler of the Golden Age of automobiles would be a collector's piece. The motorist's oil cans, machinery oilers, as well as being manufactured by different companies come in a variety of styles, from a simple thumb oiler, brass banjo style, intricate designs with handles and push-buttons or the pump 'n' squirt, and many different sizes, small, medium and large.
Approximate size of the smallest 5 cm high, 10 cm wide & 1 ½ cm deep. The largest is 20 cm high, 20 cm wide & 7 cm deep.
