Brass Wakefield Motoring Grease Gun.
A very nice vintage automotive pump grease gun, The Wakefield Castrolease Grease Gun. Made of brass with a pump action and engraved on the side "The Wakefield, Castrolease, Gun, Fill Only With, Wakefield, Castrolease, Grease, Pat 311571". The two ends will unscrew.
The Patent dates to 5th June 1928 and was filed by Wakefield & Co. Ltd. The patent was for a single acting suction valveless piston pump.
